Class of 1980 Reunion Dontion Fund
Putting together a class reunion is quite fun to organize, however, it is unfortunately a huge financial undertaking. With each reunion, we have started out with a zero cash flow. We have been very blessed with this reunion, as well with the 30th, by having a very generous classmate who has set us up with the hotel. Our mini 25th and 35th reunions were graciously held at two classmates' homes and several classmates helped to underwrite those two events.
We have based the ticket price per person to where most of our expected reunion expenses should be covered, however, it may not cover a few extra things or any unexpected costs. Therefore, we have decided to set up a Reunion Donation Fund for things such as the cost of the band playing another hour, future subscription cost of our Stratford1980.com website, extended time for the Flash Photo Bar, tips that weren't expected and to help with classmates that the ticket price may not be completely financially feasible at this time for them. We would also like to do something special for Mr. Buddy Allen, our beloved grade level principal.
