From The Houston Chronicle (8/6/2004): Man found dead in car identified A man shot to death while driving south of downtown early Thursday was identified as Phillip Troncale, 42, of the 1900 block of West Main, police said. Troncale was found shot in the chest and slumped in the driver's seat of his car after it crashed into a fence on West Dallas just before 1 a.m. Police said it appeared he was shot somewhere on Wilson Street, then drove northbound on Dallas until he hit the fence.
